Pop-Up Dental Screenings Offered at CRC
One-day mobile clinic brings free dental care directly to the Borrego Springs community
On Tuesday, May 14, the Borrego Springs Community Resource Center hosted a one-day pop-up dental clinic in partnership with DAP Health. From 1 to 5 p.m., residents of all ages were invited to stop by The Mall on Palm Canyon Drive, where DAP Health’s Mobile Dental Unit was stationed outside the CRC.
Dental professionals from DAP provided free screenings and shared information about oral health and available services. The mobile clinic made it possible for residents to access preventative care without leaving town—especially important in a rural area like Borrego Springs.
DAP Health has been steadily expanding services in our region, building on its integration with Borrego Health. Today, local offerings include primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, mental health, and dentistry, along with tools like the MyChart patient portal and continued support for the Borrego Springs Pharmacy.
The CRC is proud to support community health by making space for events like this. As always, we remain committed to helping residents connect with food assistance, transportation support, and healthcare access—right here in the heart of Borrego Springs.
