At the Borrego Springs Community Resource Center, we are committed to providing access to critical services, support groups, and learning opportunities. Our programs are open to residents of all ages and are designed to strengthen health, well-being, and community life in Borrego Springs.
Support Services
Food Coupon Distribution
Wednesdays, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
In partnership with the Borrego Ministers Association, food coupons for local Borrego Springs stores are distributed to individuals and families in need. Sign up in person at the Borrego Springs Community Resource Center.
San Diego County Health and Human Services
First Tuesday of each month, 11:15 AM – 2:15 PM
Representatives are available to assist with applications for CalFresh, CalWorks, and MediCal programs.
Food Bank
Tuesdays, 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly distribution of fresh produce and pantry staples for Borrego Springs families. Open to all; no appointment required.
Let's Go Borrego Transportation Program
Mileage reimbursement program supporting transportation to medical appointments inside/outside of Borrego Springs. Contact Silvia Arambula at 760-237-8205 to learn more or to register.
Support Groups
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Meetings
Wednesdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 11:00 AM
Providing a supportive and confidential space for those seeking recovery from alcohol use.
Grief Support Group
Third Thursday of each month, 4:00 PM
Open to individuals who are grieving and seeking community and support. Meetings held at the Borrego Springs Community Resource Center.
Free Classes
English Language Classes
Thursdays, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Free English classes for all skill levels. Books and instruction are provided; new students may join at any time.
Computer Literacy Classes
Thursdays, 9:30 AM
Learn the basics of using a computer, setting up email, navigating the internet, and more. To register, call 619-948-5900.
Dog Training Classes
Saturdays, 8:30 AM

Jewelry Making Workshop
Saturdays, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Free jewelry-making classes using beads. Open to all skill levels; supplies are provided.
